SUBCAT- How does it work ?

During surface navigation the passenger cabin is always above the water surface resting on the 2 catamaran floaters and uses Diesel engins for surface navigation. Each Floater also has its own propeller and steering wheel to faciltate manoeuvring. During surface navigation our clients are comfortably seated on the rear deck.
To facilitate the diving procedures, the catamaran floaters are divided in 7 separated tanks. Each of these tanks is subdivided in its lenght so that each floater is made of 14 separate tanks. Which we call our ballast tanks. Each one of these tanks has an opening in the bottom to permit the water we use as our ballast to enter and on the top part of these tanks we have air valves wich will be opened to permit the air to leave as the water enters and allows the Subcat to dive.
The passenger cabin is designed and constructed for up to 30 passengers, with sufficient space for comfortable seating. The windows and the entrance hatch are made as big as possible to ensure the best possible line of vision and the easiest possible entrance to the cabin for our clients. In front of the cabin we have the command post with all command and back-up systems.
