SUBCAT- How does it work ?

During underwater navigation we switch to electrical propulsion. There are 6 thruster, wich are battery powered, on board which allow all types of clean and silent manoeuvring.
For surfacing procedures, we inverse the diving procedure. The air valves are closed and pressurized air is injected in the ballast tanks. By injecting air the water is pushed out through the bottom openings and the Subcat begins its ascend to the surface. When all the water is expelled the Subcat is refloated and picks up Surface navigation.
